  An old-style threaded split spindle with three threaded holes for threaded doorknobs, or old doorknobs with square holes. It is designed for when a single doorknob is installed on one side of the door. Made of solid steel, this spindle is sturdy & durable. This particular spindle has a size of 3/8" - 16 threads per inch (TPI), which is a coarser size for doorknobs. Excellent for your reproduction doorknobs, or just a replacement for your old chewed-up spindles.
