The single finger protective guard is also great for dexterity purposes as well when carving! The Mora knives are durable, & have been used by many carpenters & wood carvers for over a 100 years! The fixed blade is well made, with the tang of the blade extending down through the attractive oiled Birchwood handle. High carbon steel is tougher & harder than stainless steels, making it ideal & desired for applications where durability is required, & where frequent regrinding is needed. Carbon steels are sharper & more durable, & have razor-sharp edges. Carbon steel in general is easy to re-sharpen as well when the need arises.

Since carbon steel has superior cutting qualities due to it’s hardness & toughness, it’s resistance to corrosion caused by moisture is low as a result. Therefore, it is important to try & keep your carbon steel blades away from moist or damp environments as much as possible. It is also a good idea to occasionally wipe the blade with a light oil, such as mineral oil from time to time. It is also a good idea to wipe the blade dry after each use.

Returns
Due to the multiple parties involved such as the factory and the warehouse, we are unable to fully manage stock. The levels of stock can change at any given time. It is possible that inventory could run out once the order has been made.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If you don't receive the product within 30 days, we're not able to issue the option of a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it in. The item should be returned in its original packaging.
